    Well kept but depressing. They gave their lives in defense of an economic system based on the suffering, bondage and blood of other human beings. Similar to German military cemeteries, there is no glory in the cause, but the dead were loved and gave all.

  • Can'e Wait to visit. Sad that so many still think the War Between the States was fought over slavery. Many famous officers and enlisted, as well as prominent citizens and ordinary people buried here.

  • A sad place to visit, as all the Civil War cemeteries tend to be. I disagree with the review that called them traitors and fools. They fought and died for something they believed in to such an extent that they gladly gave their lives ... we seldom see that kind of commitment any more (with the exception of our current service men and women). This was worth the time to stop and pay your respects, even if they fought for what you consider to be the wrong side.
